OnlineBusBookings is a platform that lets travelers search and book bus tickets from independent bus operators across East Africa. We facilitate booking and payment; the transport itself is provided by the bus operator you choose.
A booking is confirmed once payment is completed or, for cash reservations, once the operator confirms payment before the hold expires. Your e-ticket and QR code are your proof of booking. Please arrive at your boarding point ahead of the departure time shown.
Fares are set by the bus operators. You pay in the currency shown at checkout. Payments are processed by licensed providers or collected by the operator for cash bookings. Some routes are priced per segment and, for cross-border trips, per leg in the relevant currency.
Change, cancellation and refund terms are set by each bus operator and shown where applicable. Where a refund is due, it is processed according to the operator's policy and the original payment method.
You agree to provide accurate booking details and to carry any documents required for your journey, including valid ID or passport and any visa for cross-border travel. Bus operators are responsible for the transport service, schedules, and conduct of their trips.
OnlineBusBookings and TTTA facilitate bookings and are not the transport provider. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the booking service we provide. Operators are responsible for the journey itself.
